Eight days into Summer!! What better way to enjoy warmer days than to hike down to the cooling waters of Alpine Lake where we’ll lunch at the water’s edge. Then back up along the scenic waterscape of Cataract Creek – the mostly shaded route is sure to help keep us cool!!

Elevation gain: 2054 ft.
Strenuous.
What to bring: Come prepared. Wear good hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended on this mountain.
Participation: Hikes are limited to 20 people per leader. First come, first serve. Be on time to allow for parking and meeting with your group. No entrance fee. No pets (unless otherwise specified).
Cancellation policy: Rain or winds above 30 mph will cancel.
Parking: Pantoll, Bootjack, and East Peak trailheads require an $8 parking fee (exact change or check).
