9:30am Strenuous Hike with K. Ulring

Fitness hike with docent Karen Ulring.
This is a gorgeous loop hike on the west side of Mt Tam. We’ll focus on Matt Davis and his contributions to MTSP. Wonderful views and a trillium bonanza hiking up Steep Ravine.
Distance: 6.9 miles.
Elevation gain: 1808 ft.
Strenuous.
What to bring: Come prepared. Wear good hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended on this mountain.
Participation: Hikes are limited to 20 people per leader. First come, first serve. Be on time to allow for parking and meeting with your group. No entrance fee. No pets (unless otherwise specified).
Cancellation policy: Rain or winds above 30 mph will cancel.
Parking: Pantoll, Bootjack, and East Peak trailheads require an $8 parking fee (exact change or check).
