Trailhead: Matt Davis (near Stinson Beach)
“”Ocean Views and the Forest”” Fitness hike with docent Rosalind Gottfried. We will hike a bit over seven miles enjoying the views from the Dipsea trail, to the heavy wood of the Steep Ravine trail. We will take a break at the Pan Toll Ranger station before heading down the Matt Davis trail, which contains both wooded and open areas. There will be a sign on the roof of the hike leader’s dark green Camry saying free hike, open to the public.

Elevation Gain (ft): 1667.
Moderately Strenuous.
What to bring: Come prepared. Wear good hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended on this mountain. This hike recommends also bringing a notebook and something to write with.
Participation: This hike is limited to 12 people on a first come, first serve basis. Be on time to allow for parking and meeting with your group. No entrance fee. No pets (unless otherwise specified).
Cancellation policy: Rain or winds above 30 mph will cancel.
Parking: Pantoll, Bootjack, and East Peak trailheads require an $8 parking fee (exact change or check).
